2. you do not pump your own gas! that's right. it's actually illegal to pump your own gas. you just pull up to the pump and someone comes running out and pumps your gas. it's amazing!
3. i don't know if you are ready for this one... there is NO SALES TAX! just let it sink in. no sales tax. so if you buy a sandwich for 2.99 it costs 2.99. so really every day is a tax free holiday! pretty crazy and yet true. i think they make up for it with higher property taxes. sucks for people who can afford to buy houses...we can hardly afford sandwiches.

Daniel, no sales tax? no pumping gas? sounds like the good old days way back when. That's how I grew up. Only gas was 10-15 cents a gallon! Love seeing the posts, it's like I get the news first since I'm at work at 5:00 a.m. Love Grandmother
it really is amazing grandmother. it will be especially nice when it is raining i'm sure, but it has been bright and sunny every day so far!
